“Ain’t It Fun” by Guns N’ Roses
This track is a cover of a Dead Boys song and found a home on “The Spaghetti Incident?” album, which dropped in 1993. It’s one of those songs that stays fairly true to the original but adds that signature GN’R flair to it. Duff McKagan (bassist) takes on the lead vocals, and there’s something so raw and gritty about his delivery that just fits the chaos of the original punk tune.
The band obviously enjoyed venturing into these punk roots, and the song gives off this cool, reckless vibe. A fun fact – the original song was written by Dead Boys’ members Stiv Bators and Cheetah Chrome.
