“Didn’t Know” by Tom Zanetti
Tom Zanetti’s “Didn’t Know” is a love song with what we can also be deemed as an overt sexual overtone. That is not to say that it is a sex song though. Nor do the lyrics utilize what would commonly be considered NSFW language. But the singer lets it be known that the object of the lyrics, which is his significant other, is someone whom he really enjoys getting it on with.
In fact one of the main reasons he pursued her in the first place was due to sexual attraction, which obviously was mutual.
But such is not to imply that smooching, bonking and what have you is what lies at the foundation of this relationship. Rather what the title is indicative of is the vocalist coming to the realization that he is in fact in love. And as such, he wants his sweetheart’s guarantee that the two of them will last forever.
Also just to note, the first verse of the song in particular reads as if it is personal as opposed to being about a generic or fictional relationship. And it has been put forth that in such a regard, whom Tom is referring to is the lady he was dating at the time, Sophie Hermann.

Tom Zanetti is a multi-faceted musician in that he produces and DJs, as well as raps and sings. It has been noted, being 31 years of age at the writing of this post, that he began performing in clubs at the age of 17.
He has yet to drop an album but came out with quite a few singles during the 2010s. And two of them, “You Want Me” (2016) and “More & More” (2017), have been certified platinum by the BPI.
Zanetti’s discography, taking into consideration the number of years he’s been active, is relatively sparse. But it would appear that he is an independent artist. Also he is engaged in a vast number of other business ventures.

Meanwhile “Didn’t Know” itself also performed well, peaking at number 14 on the UK Singles Chart and number 5 on the UK Dance Chart. And in that case romance reportedly helped the cause, as Zanetti, who is also a reality TV personality, was involved with another such celebrity, Sophie Hermann, at the time.
However, since the release of this song on 19 February 2021, they have reportedly broken up.
Tom Zanetti wrote “Didn’t Know”, with the song being produced by another artist known as Sjay, who appears to be a regular collaborator of the vocalist.
