I Don’t Care About You by Guns N’ Roses
This one’s a straight-up punk rock cover from that same 1993 album, “The Spaghetti Incident?” Originally by Fear, a punk band from the ’70s, “I Don’t Care About You” is like a punch of raw, unbridled energy. Axl, Slash, Duff, and the rest of the gang bring a slightly more polished yet equally rebellious rendition of the punk anthem.
It doesn’t just carry the punk vibe in the sound, but also in the attitude – it’s kind of like a massive middle finger in musical form, unapologetic and loud. This track and the album in general showed that GN’R weren’t just hard rockers but had a bit of that punk spirit in them too.
