Yesterdays by Guns N’ Roses

Now “Yesterdays”, man, that’s a track that dives deep. Also off “Use Your Illusion II” from 1991, Axl talks about letting go of the past and moving forward. It’s like an introspective journey wrapped in a rock ballad, and Axl, Slash, Duff McKagan, West Arkeen, and Del James penned this thoughtful track together. The lyrics get introspective, pondering on the past, but also kind of discarding it, pushing towards the future. It didn’t hit as big as some of the others but it’s a real, heartfelt track that shows a softer side of the band.
