“In Love With You” by The Paradise
“In Love With You” falls primarily under the house music genre, a type of sound whereas the emphasis is on encouraging listeners to dance. As such house musicians don’t really tend to focus much on lyrics, and even when they do it may be in a manner that the audience isn’t meant to focus too much on what’s being said anyway.
But with that being noted, this song definitely falls into the former category, i.e. a song with little emphasis on lyrics per se. And that’s because there’s only one phrase being repeated, chopped and mixed throughout – that being of course “in love with you”.
So without overstressing ourselves, it can easily be concluded that the addressee is someone whom the vocalist is smitten by. But actually calling this a love song may be a bit of stretch since, as stressed earlier, the main purpose of the tune is obviously to cause listeners to bounce, more so than actually expressing affection.
“In Love With You”
This song was initially released in 2003 via a label called Vulture Music. Upon release, it failed to be a notable hit.
A number of years later, it began doing pretty well via Spotify, on top of being noticed by some dance music fans.
In early 2022, it experienced newfound global recognition after being featured multiple times on television. It was featured on the hit series entitled And Just Like That…. This show is actually a spinoff of Sex and the City. The song instantly went viral upon appearing on the show.
Who are The Paradise?
The Paradise is a musical act consisting of Alan Braxe and another apparently French musician who goes by the name of Romuald. Both are music artists in their own right, with Braxe in particular sporting a lengthy discography. But that said, it has been noted that “In Love With You” is the only notable track they dropped as a unit.
