“Live and Let Die” by Guns N’ Roses
Oh, man, what a cover! Originally by Wings, GNR’s version of “Live and Let Die” is explosive, literally and figuratively. They took McCartney’s version, cranked it up a few notches, and just let it rip. It features some frenetic drums from Matt Sorum and a killer guitar work.
Live performances of this track are an absolute spectacle with fireworks and all. Axl totally makes the song his own, and you almost forget it’s a cover because they slam it so hard with their own style.
