Raw Power by Guns N’ Roses
Originally an Iggy and The Stooges track, “Raw Power” was released by Guns N’ Roses in their “The Spaghetti Incident?” era. Axl and the boys stay pretty true to the original but add their signature sauce to it, making it a bit more hard rock and less punky. The energy is through the roof, with screeching vocals and slamming guitar riffs, talking about that raw, unrestrained power of rock n’ roll.
Again, not a chart-climber, but a solid entry into an album that let GN’R pay homage to their punk influences while adding their own iconic rock style into the mix.
