“Right Next Door to Hell” by Guns N’ Roses
Man, this track kicks off the album with an absolute bang. With Axl Rose’s vocals just slashing through, it’s a straight-up rebellious anthem. Duff McKagan, the band’s bassist, co-wrote it, and rumor has it that it was inspired by Axl’s real-life feuds with his neighbors.
It’s a pretty straightforward rock n’ roll number with a healthy dose of GNR’s trademark attitude. This song sets the tone for the album and tells you right away, “We’re Guns N’ Roses and we’re here to tear things up!”
